MDCAT 2024: When Will the Test Be Held in Pakistan?
MDCAT is the abbreviation for Medical and Dental College Admission Test which is a standardized test that is taken in Pakistan by students who want to get admitted to medical or dental colleges. It tests skills of evaluation of problems, critical thinking and knowledge about sciences related to humans as well as animals, while including natural science along with social science. The registration period for MDCAT 2024 by PMDC will commence after the completion of Eid ul-Adha prayers in July 2024 and the exam will take place in August 2024. Tests are often scheduled one month before they begin.Detailed syllabus for MDCAT 2024 has not been released by PMDC but it usually includes Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Language and logical reasoning from Pre-medical intermediate curriculum. There are two hundred questions on MDCAT written in multiple choice format which must be answered within a time frame of three and half hours only. Students need at least sixty five percent marks in order to qualify for admission to medical schools whereas for dental education fifty five percent marks are required.
