Normally, MDCAT registration dates are announced in June, and students typically complete their registration by the end of the month. However, in 2024, for the first time, NUMS has announced their registration before the finalization of the PMDC meeting. Usually, the PMDC holds a meeting with chancellors from universities in Sindh, Balochistan, KPK, and Punjab. After this meeting, the universities announce the MDCAT dates and registration details. But this year, NUMS has announced the dates before receiving approval from PMDC.

When will the test be conducted?

The rejection of Liaquat Ali Khan University to conduct the MDCAT in Sindh and the subsequent assignment of this responsibility to Dow University has created additional complications, potentially causing delays in the MDCAT in Pakistan. As far as I know, the MDCAT in Pakistan will probably be held in September 2024.
